This week we hosted laurimar at home and before the game we spoke about our poor starts to every game this year,so with our focus on starting well our first 10 min was spot on with 3 quick centre clearances we got 4 goals on the board early but for the next 10 minutes it was a scrappy battle.
The second quarter was very similar to the first with some good patches and some ordinary patches as well, for us to be a strong finals side we need to put sides away early the longer we keep sides in the game the harder we will make it on our selves against the top sides.
The second half went pretty much the way it has gone all year to kick 9 goals in the first half to then kicking 19 in the 2nd half, on one positive we are running games with plenty of run ,i would like to see what this team is capable of if you were to play 4 full quarters.
With up to 9 players to come back in over the next 2 weeks spot are going to be hard to get so training and playing well is a must now if you want to hold your spot.
