Match Report:
After a very long seven days, we were extremely keen to make amends for our previous week’s performance. Winning the toss and kicking with the aid of a solid breeze certainly helped our cause and after a brief period of adjusting to the conditions, we were able to get the game on our terms and go into the first change 35 points up. Despite the scoreboard not reflecting it, our second quarter was one of our best for the year and was highlighted by a hunger to tackle, harass and defend. The net result of 2.5 to 1.3 set the game up for us and we were able to build on this in the second half and run away with a solid 78 point victory. Mick Italia had a great return to form with 4 goals and numerous possessions through the midfield along with Kieran Malone who jagged 3 of his own. Mikey Edwards was great in his return to senior football and James Kroussoratis looked much better for the run the week before and finished the game with 6 majors and a hand in several others. Down back, Daniel Camilleri showed his class all day with his trademark exquisite foot skills even in the blustery conditions while first gamer, Bailey Neilson showed he has a bright career in front of him displaying confidence and poise beyond his years. Winning is certainly a better feeling than losing and we hope to put our best forward again today with our return today hit-out with St Mary’s.

Match Report:
Last week we took on kilmore at home in a game where a number of our better players were missing for a number of reasons and the good thing was we are able to have another look at some of the future stars playing 4 of the 19's. Start well winning all positions on the ground the ballot movement was good with a gale blowing the end we were kicking at , it was a solid quarter kicking 7 goals. The second was tuff work kicking into a breeze that was a 5-6 goal wind but it was a chance to practice keeping the footy on our terms and even though we kicked 3 into the wind we waisted a lot of opportunities and sent kick chasing instead of sticking to our structures but it was still a good effort. The 3rd quarter really started to open up with our fitness starting to shine with ari, stevo, wells, matho really running and braking the lines to finish with 8 goals for the quarter. Going into the last it was a case of getting through without any injuries or reports and get some run into s few guys finishing the last with only 1 on the bench the boys did well to still get 3 goals in the last to run out ruth a big win, there will be a number of players back this week so spots will b hard to get in a must win game against st marys.
