Match Report:
A mixed afternoon for the senior side in really tough conditions for football. After three quarters of quality play from our boys, we put the queue in the rack at three quarter time and allowed our opposition to get themselves back into the game. In the end we got the result we were after with confirmation of the double chance however it was bittersweet given a horrible compound break to Bailey Neilson's wrist and a badly twisted ankle to Bailey Jordan. Today we look forward to welcoming some key senior players back into the side for what will no doubt be a tough encounter at Mernda.

Match Report:
Last week we took on St Marys at banyule in gale force winds, this was a important game for us , win we get a double chance loose and we have to go through the finals the hard way. We went into the game knowing the importance of what was at stake and loosing the toss and going into the wind for the first was extremely hard , we felt the breeze was about a 6 goal wind and keeping them to 4 goals was a good start. The 2nd didn't go to plan struggling to get the ball deep to our forwards and bombing kicks in didn't help, instead of lowering our eyes and hitting targets around the 50. The 3rd was really tuff they kicked 6 goals to 1 to kick away to a 38 pt lead, with injuries to strawny , langers, and harris we were running out of rotations. The 4th was another struggle only kicking 2 goals to 1 to go down by 4 goals , on a positive side we have learnt a lot about what we have to do next time we play them and with up to 11 players missing on sat there are good signs.
