Match Report:
Saturday’s result was set up in the first quarter where, kicking against the breeze, we were successful in keeping Reservoir scoreless whilst capitalising on our inside 50 entries to score 6 majors of our own. The final result aside, it was most exciting to see players embrace our new game plan and importantly, show the discipline and commitment to follow it through even after the result was beyond doubt. There were several real positives to be taken from the day including the performances of several players debuting for the football club including Kiran Malone, Riley Keath, Ben Embleton and James Kroussoratis, the latter contributing 6 goals of his own up forward. Playing his first game in nearly a year, Adam Barclay was extremely lively in his 100th appearance for the club and finished the game with 4 majors while several of our U/19s in Artan Cabdi, Ben Nethercote and Mikey Edwards were all strong contributors throughout the afternoon.

Match Report:
Saturdays game was going to be a bit of the unknown for us as there were some boys that only started training a few week ago and as not knowing much about reservoir. We started well kicking 6 into the wind and keeping the goaless for the quarter it was enjoyable to watch u all run around playing for points after a long preseason. The second quarter was much the same smithy and Coulson both giving targets up forward and giving us first use of the ball from the ruck , Dell across halfback was rebounding everything and Borgy up forward was lively. The second half went the same as the first to keep them goalless for the game it was good to see some boys going down with cramps that shows to me u were running and pushing yourselves hard but that also shows that we also need to work even harder. Good team effort first up but must not get complacent with a tough month ahead.
