Match Report:
Cold but good conditions for footy greeted us at Kilmore and we made use of the scoring end registering 9 goals to 2 in a quality first quarter of unselfish football. Inaccuracy and some resilient defence from Kilmore resulted in some gettable goals going to waste in the second and we went into the main break with a very handy 5 goal lead. Having lost Jake Hooper shortly after the opening bounce and Adam Barclay immediately after quarter time, the second half was always going to be a slog but to the credit of our midfield brigade of Dan Kelly, Dev McDonald, Kieren Malone and Riley Keath who were not afforded their normal breaks, we were able to grind out a hard fought victory with limited rotations against an opposition who finished the game full of running. Once again James Kroussoratis was dominant up forward kicking 6 goals from 12 shots while Sean Downes who is providing some X-factor across half forward was dangerous all day and registered 3 of his own. We look forward to returning to the Cave this week for our return bout with Reservoir.

Match Report:
In a must win game we traveled to kilmore with a number of players missing from both sides. This was a good opportunity for us to play some under 19s kids with the first half being a little scrappy and congested we started to show glimpses of what we are trying to do and going into the break 10 goals to 1. The 2nd half started to open up and we started to get our running game going with some of the younger kids leading the way with benny, ari, jye and hayes and smithy starting to take control up forward and the 2 first gamers in stemp and keith getting plenty of it . With us only kicking 2 goals in the 3rd quarter it was good to see that we ran the game out to finish with a 11 goal last quarter .
